🔪❣️ (really wasn’t sure if I should use he or she* in this poem because I have experienced this type of hurt with many people)
A lot of people go to the beach for an escape, and while I LOVE warm, tropical beaches - the mountains are certainly my home away from home. It is here I can truly feel at peace with my inner-self by spending my time leisurely and reflecting on my current dilemmas. One of the greatest parts about the mountains is the ability for their natural, simplistic embrace to always give me an ego check. I was recently able to visit the mountains during a troublesome time in my life and it certainly helped me calm my soul to think in a clear, more meaningful manner. The link to that post is in my bio!
Swipe for poem ~ This was a poem I wrote last spring. There was a really bad storm one night and while the next morning was beautiful weather-wise, I saw a lot of dead baby birds and it made my sensitive ass so sad. ⛈🌸
I recently went through some old pictures on my actual camera to “start fresh” and try to get back into photography. I really love taking pictures of landscapes and nature. I will be posting some of my favorite gems i forgot about the next couple of weeks 🤟🏼☺️
